Ask us anything.

Every question gets a straight answer — including the ones where the honest answer is “not yet.”

The basics

What this is.

  • 01What is Civictra?On-demand public transit for the first and last mile: an accessible, electric minibus that comes when you ask for it — by app, web, or phone — shared with neighbours heading your way, at a transit-level fare.

  • 02Where does it run today?Nowhere yet — and we'd rather say so than pretend. Civictra is pre-launch; our first municipal pilots are in conversation. Progress gets published on the Updates page as it actually happens.

  • 03How do I book a ride? The service is designed for three equal channels: the app, the website, and a phone call. Tell us where you are and where you're going — that's the whole form. A smartphone is never required.

The ride

How riding works.

  • 04Will I share the ride?Usually, yes — sharing with neighbours heading the same way is what keeps fares at transit level instead of taxi level. You see the route before you're on it.

  • 05What is a pickup window?Instead of a fixed timetable, you get a meeting spot and a short arrival window — both shown before you confirm, not after. Once a vehicle is assigned, you can watch it arrive live.

  • 06How long will I wait? That depends on your city's fleet and the time of day. We won't quote numbers we haven't earned — once service is live, real wait-time performance is published for everyone to see.

  • 07What does a ride cost?Fares are set with each municipal partner and published before launch — transit-level, shown before you book, with concession fares following your city's fare policy. Surge pricing doesn't exist here.

Access and safety

Riding with confidence.

  • 08Can I bring my wheelchair, stroller, or service animal?Yes, yes, and always. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are part of every fleet, and operators are trained for accessible service. The full picture — ramp, securement, booking without a smartphone — is on the Accessibility page.

  • 09How is safety handled?Screened, trained operators; maintained, telematics-monitored vehicles; and a dispatch team watching every trip. The written standard lives on the Safety page.

Your city

Getting Civictra where you live.

  • 10How do I bring Civictra to my city?We launch with municipalities, not around them — a resident who puts the idea in front of their council moves things more than any pitch of ours. Start on the Your city page.
